Hibernian FC

2024 Nicky Cadden Hibernian FC Green Home kit worn on August 24, 2024 against Dundee FC

I’ve always wanted a match worn shirt from the Scottish Premiership, and I was thrilled to get one from a former MLS player playing for Hibernian in Edinburgh, Scotland. This shirt came from the match on 8/24/2024 which was a 2-2 draw against Dundee F.C. The shirt shows some wonderful game use dirt and grass stains from the game.

Nicky came over to the Columbus Crew and was viewed as the long term replacement for Harrison Afful. Sadly, shortly after he arrived, COVID struck. Being isolated by himself in a different timezone/part of the world, Nicky understandbly decided to head back home.

Hibernian was formed by the Irish contingent in Edinburgh in 1875, which is plain to see in the teams color and logo. The harp represents Ireland, the ship the Port of Leith (in Edinburgh), and the castle is the Edinburgh Castle. The clubs motto is, “Erin go bragh,” which means Ireland forever in Celtic.
